Cellular internalization and nuclear localization of FITC-labeled nanoparticle/pDNA complexes in HeLa cells. Cells were incubated with the complexes for 10 min to 4 h. Cells with nuclear fluorescence (indicated by arrows) were observed at 10–40 min. After 50 min of incubation, most of the cells exhibited nuclear accumulation of the FITC-labeled complexes
