In situ SFG amide I spectra of CytoC interacting with a CaF 2 prism (left panel) and a CaF 2 prism coated with an oxygen plasma treated polystyrene (right panel). Spectra were collected at two different polarization combinations ssp (black) and ppp (red). The amide peak near 1655 cm-1 is characteristic of ordered α-helices.
