Normalized N/Au ratios for GGKGG, K 5 , and K 10 peptides adsorbed on Au from solutions of different concentrations. For each peptide, a 10-fold dilution in 10 mM sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7) was tested for differences after adsorption for 24 h at room temperature. N/Au ratios are normalized by the average number of nitrogen atoms per residue for each peptide. (*) Denotes significant difference (p < 0.05) between a pair of values.
