AFM images of solution casted ZOL loaded PEC films on Ge-IRE substrates. AFM images (topography, 4 × 4 um) are shown in the dry state before (top row) and after release (bottom row). In the left column films of ZOL/CS/PEI-M-25 K-0.9-1:5, the middle column those of ZOL/CS/PEI-25 K-0.9-1:5 and right column of ZOL/CS/PEI-750 K-0.9-1:5 are given.
