Each viewgraph presents a combination of both experiments: 10% fatty acid in PEG 400 (solid black lines) and control (solid red lines). Note that depth of skin could not be associated to in vivo conditions as swelling of skin occurs in diffusion cells due to absorption of acceptor medium, circulating underneath the skin sample.
